FIREBALL whiskey recalled - too much antifreeze.

    So, does that mean those of us that live in the "cold" states, won't freeze in the winter if we drink it?! lol :eek:

    So, you're telling me that there are 2 other versions of fireball that i havnt tried yet?!?!? sweet!!! Time to load up and taste test until i can tell u the diffference......who ships.from europe?

    They say that the ingredient propylene glycol is in plenty of the other foods that we eat. True that which doesn't kill you will keep you from freezing. So when you do drink it and you get that WARM feeling...Ha...now you know why. I believe the recall is starting in Europe but you/they have different rules of % there than here (States).

    They being said............shots, shots, shots!

    I thought the ingredient to prevent freezing was called "alcohol".

    read the small print on bottles of MIO . its loaded with propylene glycol . its a food grade antifreeze .

    Winter's coming. I live in Canada. I'm not above drinking propylene glycol to get me through it.

    Propylene glycol is a food additive, ethylene glycol is in antifreeze, two different compounds. But fireball will keep us warm this winter either way!
