That some people are so arogant and self centered they think their vaca at TTR is more inportant than the health and well being of others..
Could you explain just a bit about which people it is? The people who are down there literally right now, or the people scrambling to figure out what they're going to do with their reservations?
From what we've read and all of the comments, its more about being disappointed that plans have to change rather than someone wanting to actually travel at this moment or do something to threaten the health of others. Everyone is allowed to have their own feelings especially when Temptation (or similar vacations) offer people a chance to escape reality. We all want each other to be and stay safe.
I'm not sure who those people are either. Maybe 10 days ago it might have been true. There are hardly any tourists here and no new International tourists arriving. The only flights coming in are domestic flights, we still have domestic flights as do US, Canada and UK. Any International flights are arriving empty and taking people home. Those will stop in the next couple of days. Some people are 'trapped'. For example, many South Americans have no flights to their home countries. Some countries refuse flights to land if they are not crewed by their Nationals. A Mexican crewed plane to (I forget where but South America) was refused permission to take off even though it was carrying their own citizens. Mexicans are free to travel within their own country. Movement is not restricted, although it has slowed down considerably. Many hotels have closed 100%, so some people staying at those may have moved to Temptation as one of the few hotels that are still open. I would expect that any tourists still at Temptation are mostly Latinos from the above categories. I will also be surprised if the hotel remains open for long.
