Made all the final payments/bookings today for our visit in November (visit #6) Booked the Boobs Cruise for Nov 16 (first time for us) Booked USA Transfers for the first time also but there was no payment option, is this the normal way they do it?? We usually use a service through the hotel and payment is required upon booking (just don't want to be standing at the airport with no ride) The countdown can now officially begin for us!!!!
Yes, that’s normal. You don’t pay in advance. The driver will ask you to pay the full fee when you arrive at the hotel. I always bring cash. I haven’t seen them carry a card scanner. When you leave customs, push through the gauntlet of salespeople to get outside. You should see someone with the USA Tansfers sign/clipboard in the middle towards the vehicle loop. They should have your name and reservation on their list.
We have paid USA Transfers by card and they will call someone at the office to take your card number over the phone. Not the most secure method but that was years ago and nothing bad happened. They will take Canadian money too, for people on certain flights, look at the bottom of the email confirmation for the current exchange/price. If you come into the new terminal don't go to the friends and family exit. USA Transfers is not there and you can get scammed by someone who will offer to let you use their cell phone and dial a different number than USA Transfers and blah blah blah. We got tripped by that last November. But when we contacted USA transfers about it they still took great care of us and got us back to the airport for departure with no problems.
