Haven't seen these answered anywhere so figured I'd ask. 1) The priority check-in online. Is it worth doing/What is the benefit? 2) Room service. I understand that Patty-O's is open with food late, but is there anywhere else to get food late a la room service. Or is it only a breakfast menu for room service. 3) Early check-in. Anyone know if this is possible? Something a tip can help?
#1 waste of time #2 I dont remember ... i do not think so #3 You can check in as in get your band ...but not the room until it is available.
Few First Timer Questions Haven't seen these answered anywhere so figured I'd ask. 1) The priority check-in online. - I'm assuming you're referring to flight? worth it if you care where you sit. TTR? Not sure... 2) Room service.- breakfast only...at night...burgers and fries at the paty-o bar...gotta get it yourself...sometimes a longer line if there is a club night...all depends... 3) Early check-in. - can only get a room when a room is ready. you can arrive any time and they will hold your luggage and give you your wrist band to enjoy the all inclusive, ive gotten my room as early as noon.
We've done it the last two trips. First time they didn't know what I was talking about when I said we did the advance check in online. The second time they had everything ready for us when we got to the front desk and it saved a little time. I will definitely do for our trip on the 20th. Thanks for reminding me. I think I'll go do it now!
1) For TTR, never noticed a difference in speed with it or without it. They will photo copy your Passport and hand you your wrist bands for the hotel. If a room is available, you go straight away. Always best to use the bell hop to take your luggage to the room, this way you know how to get there quickly, some of the room numbers can be a bit difficult to locate, especially when all that is on your mind is getting into your swimming suit and hitting up The Sexy Pool. I usually tip him $100 pescos which is about $10 US. I would ask for the quiet pool area, it is nice to get away from all the noise from time to time and the rooms are bigger as that side of the hotel used to be another resort before they took it over. 2) Only breakfast is served via Room Service, if you are out and about late at night and want a snack, Paty Os burgers are awesome but make sure you have had a few to drink before hand. It comes with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo, mustard, ketchup & jalapenos on the side so you can dress it up whatever way you would like. Earlier in the evening from 6pm to 9pm outside of the buffet, Paty Os also has some quick finger foods along the same side as the burger station. Great way on the way back from the pool at 6pm to get a quick small fix before heading out to dinner. 3) Again if the room is available, you are in, tipping helps with room upgrades, but I always go look at the room first to make sure I like it, then come back down and tip from there. On check out time, you can either leave your belongings in a friends room, or leave it at the front security desk. They cut off you bracelet, check you out and hand you 2 pieces of paper. One is for your luggage tags, and the other is so the bartenders know your still at the resort and able to drink till you leave. Never had a problem there, staff is very accommodating 24 hours a day 7 days a week
1) The priority check-in online. Is it worth doing/What is the benefit? A: You "might" get a room a little faster if they are running near to capacity. 2) Room service. I understand that Patty-O's is open with food late, but is there anywhere else to get food late a la room service. Or is it only a breakfast menu for room service. A: That's it. Drink more. Solves the problem, in a couple of ways. 3) Early check-in. Anyone know if this is possible? Something a tip can help? A: Nope. The drunkards who were in your room either have, or haven't checked out early. It's not the staff, it's the rest of us that's in the way. Sorry.
