I heard on the grapevine that a casino was opening up on Tulum by the Novedades. Anyone else know anything about it? Great way to lose my paycheck on a Friday! Wonder if it will be Vegas style, with free drinks, hot waitresses and goons? I also thought casino's were illegal here? Guess not anymore!
I hear they have casinos in 'freeland' or whatever it's called, the placed in between Mexico and Belize, could be worth a trip, get some beans in Belize while we're there? Just a shame they don't have Stella otherwise it would be worth the journey, haven't seen any available in Cancun since Costco got that one batch in and although i'm desperate, i'm not going over to The Pub to pay 90 pesos for a small flat bottle of it. You think you can bring me back a keg in your suitcase mate?
Mat: I was hoping for a new supermarket or something, but when I saw the blinking neon lights I kind of assumed that it would be something completely different, unless Chedraui have changed their image :lol:
I think the new "casino" is going to be similar to the Play City "casinos". Video gambling machines and sports bets. (My parents have some kind of luck, they went to Play City several nights on their last visit and won every time, wish that luck would rub off on me!)
