Steve has created one of the best forums i've ever been a part of. there is so much great and honest information here, offered by some wonderful people. and thank you for doing your research, but please don't hesitate to ask anything!!
I had tons of questions before my virgin trip in Dec/11, especially since I was travelling as a single woman and nervous about that. Everyone here was so patient in answering questions, particularly given that the same questions get asked over and over by the newbies! I now try to help out newbies whenever I can, to return the favour. Without this forum, I never would have had the courage to travel to TTR on my own. I probably would have just gone to the mall and spent my vacation money there! A big thanks to Steve for getting me onto the beach instead!
The information that is given for newbies (like me) is PRICELESS! I can't thank everyone enough that posts answers, trip reports, and funny things. I look forward to going on to this board every day to see who's posted answers, trip reports, etc. What a wonderful forum! Can't wait to meet people when we finally get down there in November. Until then, we continue to live vicariously through all the trip reports!
I'd have been too scared to try Temptations if it hadn't been for the incredible people on this forum. Ask away--we get to re-live our trips whenever we answer questions!
Can't wait to meet you too! We get there June 22... 47 more days and we can't wait! Sometimes I feel like a lurker as well - I enjoy the site and frequent quite often however I don't post that much. The forum is GREAT for information and contributes to my non-stop excitement about my trip.
It hasn't answered the very pivotal question of "Why shouldn't I wear my Banana-yellow Speedo Thong?" yet, though...
