Our first trip was when we mid thirties. It was my birthday. Did a Boobzecruise on my birthday. Was the best birthday I ever had! We're going back for my 41st birthday this April and some of the friends we've made will also be going. I've travelled to a lot of all inclusive resorts, but for some reason the friends we've made at Temptation Resort are the only ones we've actually gone to meet and had visit us, and made plans to travel with again. You won't find too many cons, if I had to nit pick, I'd say it's not a 5 star resort, but that really doesn't bother you when you're having so much fun. Everyone is happy, having a good time, being themselves and easy to meet. The theme nights are our favorite part. When we first went we planned for three or four of them for the week we were there, but when we saw the outfits, we would improvise something for the night. Now we plan outfits for the whole week. Steph gets totally sexy and Rob isn't scared to put on a Tutu and fishnets. See our pics and look at the smiles. The only bad part of Temptations is the day you have to leave. You'll be talking about when you'll be coming back before you get to the airport.

best advice I could give is read these forums and ask questions when you have them. I remember before our first trip being nervous about what to wear and theme nights and everybody told me not to worry about it you can be as sexy as you want or as conservative as you want. I didn't feel like that answered most of my questions until I got there do what makes you feel comfortable you can be totally crazy or totally reserved and nobody here judges you or think anything of it. You will read a lot about swingers at this resort but again this place is not just for swingers if that is something you're into you have no problem finding something if it's something you're not into you will feel no pressure and you may not even be asked. we have been to a lot of different resorts and made a lot of good friends but I think the friends we made at temptations were the best ones we still keep in contact with some of the people we met there and we are planning a return trip this year and as of today I believe 10 members of our friend group that we met there will be going the same time

The Hubs (36) and I (33) went for the first time when I was 29 and he was 33. Been another four times and booked for May.

We had travelled a lot and been to the typical resorts anywhere from Mexico to Dominican Republic to Jamaica. The first time we went (2010), we actually went to TTR with my brother/wife and my new divorced sister at the time. Not sure what to expect at all.....

The next time we went was four months later for my 30th birthday with a couple that we are friends with......

    Pros -
You will honestly never find anywhere like TTR. We are not swingers but love to have a blast and grey the line to what we feel is comfortable for us. Everyone is so super friendly, welcoming and genuinely just want you to have a great time. The atmosphere makes you feel very comfortable and actually the more I go, the more sexy I feel about myself because it is such a breath of fresh air to see people like you for who you are. For example, if you are not comfortable with taking your top off, don't do it.....no on really cares. If you take your top off, do it......lots of other women will too.

It is a understatement to say that the people make TTR what it is; because it really is what makes it so great. Plus the fact that you can decide whatever level you are comfortable with and EVERYONE respects it. There are a ton of activities you can check out with lots of entertainment to make you laugh. You can play along or watch....again totally what you are comfortable with.

For example, there is tequila volleyball, scuba lessons, parasailing, aerobics, foam party....all of which you can choose how much you want to participate in.

The dinner options are great too. Most likely you will meet people that you will end up having dinner with. Drunk or sober.....you are treated amazing and always with a smile.

There are plenty of options for at night too. Always some sort of entertainment by the resort follow-up by a DJ/Band that you can dance all night too.

There are plenty of clubs that you can go to in the evening as well if you want a break from the resort. Although....there are plenty of repeaters that go that never leave.....which is cool too.....it's whatever you want

    Cons-
If there are any cons (which to me....are hard to find), make sure you and your spouse are on the same page. That way you can avoid any arguments amongst the two of you. For example....if the lady doesn't feel comfortable taking her top off......DON'T push her to do it....let her feel comfortable until she is ready and even if she isn't.....WHO CARES....cause I guarantee no one else will care and all it will do will cause a fight between the two of you. Funny enough, this is a conversation I've personally heard in the sexy pool a hundred times and seems to be one of the first things that first timers usually fight about in my opinion. Trust me....we were guilty of this the first time we went. lol

The Buffet can be a little mundane at times, I have heard the A/C bothers some, but never been effected personally. And of course you will always here debates about chairs, towels, etc. My frame of mind always is.....Whatever, I'm on vacation no point crying over spilt milk....it is what it is.....

The only other thing I could add is try and go without any judgments because that is where you can loose the momentum to have a good time. We all go to TTR because we love the free environment to make whatever decision you may choose. Being friendly with others (and by that I mean making conversation and genuinely being interested in hearing and talking to other people) will make a HUGE difference to your trip with the possibility of making new life-long friends. An example of that is, we met another couple at TTR 18months ago and we are going back at the same time in May for more shenanigans.

Seriously though all in all, TTR is a remarkable place that seems to bridge the gap between lifestyle, swayers, partiers, and couples looking to reconnect. The concept is so unique that there seems to be an underlying "don't fyck with the concept" cause I believe that they have something like a 85% return rate of people.....I could be off a bit....that is the number the Timeshare people told me a couple years ago. You will always feel good about yourself and everyone there is seriously the most respectful and really just want you to enjoy your vacation.

if you do go I recommend participating in the theme nights especially the ones on this site. It is a lot of fun to dress up and look super sexy and then go dancing

    Awesome advice!
I recommend taking sexy outfits to participate and make the decision whether to wear them or not when you get there. I have found I am most comfortable being who I am at TTR because there really is no judgement...Or maybe it is there, that I just truly don't care. I have never been to a resort that you walk in as strangers and 6 hours later are all friends.

I think we had as much fun buying the outfits then trying them on at home as we did wearing them at TTR

Thanks that was really in depth and helpful. Couple of other questions. You mentioned swayer, also read something about a balcony show

A swayer is someone who's not a swinger but may enjoy being flirty around others or just is entertained by watching their interactions (best definition I can come up with!).

Balcony shows are, well take a look at someone's balcony and you might get a live performance done by a couple (if you know what I mean).
