Haven't been for a couple of years, but it was nice. More of a 'relaxing' atmosphere opposed to 'party' atmosphere. It is topless optional at the pools and beach. However, we noticed several people (guys) taking pics and/or videos. Security there doesn't seem to care about that. Not a big deal if you are in a large group in the middle of the pool, but can be a little uncomfortable (creepy) if by yourself on the beach. Just something to be aware of. Hope you enjoy your stay, K and J
We visited for a couple of days on a day pass. Nice pool, food was great. There was lots of activities at the pool during the day...but at night it was pretty quiet. We would not stay there. If you are looking for a fun place with lots of entertainment at night and a great pool and lots of bars you should look at Grand Oasis the Pyramid. They have several night clubs for dancing. The resort is a 4 star. We are staying 5 days at DRM and then 5 days at the Grand Oasis this coming May. I have a timeshare at the Paradisus, nice place, but very quiet at night.
Grab your reading lamp. Lay on the floor. Position said lamp angled above your face. Stay there for 30 min. Stretch your arms in the air. Big yawn. Repeat this strict regimen 20 times a day for 7 days. Now you've been there. Send me an etransfer for $$2,298 and experience is complete.
Number one, it's called a boob cruise because ALL the woman must go topless. So make sure your partner is ok with that. It is a party boat with lots of alcohol and adult games. Have your party hats on. The stop at Isla Mujeres for lunch is a nice break to get some food in your stomach to help soak up some of the alcohol. Don't forget your sunscreen and hats. Be advised, some of the couples strip down to totally nude. Whipping cream is used on both men and woman to be licked off. Yummy. The cruise is well worth it. Go and act like a heathen.
