I am sure it's been answered and talked about more than few times. Just wanted to get an upto date prospective of what could you expect. 3 years in a row in March and frankly speaking me and my wife we are getting tired of spring breakers, more and more dumb (mostly singles) each year. We have friends that we have met each year but want to change up. So Feb or April in terms of crowd, pricing, weather...etc etc. I usually book in Nov for March trip around 3500 for 2 people from Montreal and I am guessing I am running out of time to get good deals. Thanks in advance.
I traditionally do mid-Feb and/or early-November. I did the tail end of April earlier this year just because Feb wouldn't work for my schedule. April weather was still great. It took till the last day of January to get the price-point I wanted...so the deals can be made you just have to watch for them...literally every day check and be patient. No spring-breakers that late in the game. Was probably 95%+ couples with a couple quite smaller groups of single guys and girls...very few singletons. The April vibe was great, and the resort was nearly full probably helped by the great April Addicts group with great year over year repeaters...all the outside attractions were still available. All the restaurants open every day. One thing you do have to watch is the direct flights start falling off in April..by May there are almost none. I'm going back to my Mid-Feb trip coming up, not for any particular reason other than that's the best time for a winter break for me...by April we're almost into spring and it's not as much of a bonus. I'd never even consider March...the vibe just wouldn't work for me even though all but 2 of my trips have been solo. I just can't cope with the packs of feral single guys.
We have been the past 2 Aprils and really only re-call 2 single dudes who might have been on spring break from the UK. We are all booked for 04/07-04/19/16 and not worried about spring breakers one bit. I believe they generally go in March. So book April !
The 1st time we went was in mid March and NEVER again. There were a massive amount of single guys there in three or four large groups that were beyond irritating and out of place...lots of total creepers. After doing a ton of research we decided on April...seems like a lot of 'like minded' couples there at this time too. Weather is also supposed to be the best in April. I'd suggest booking soon though because I hear it sells out pretty quickly.
there was not many single guy in mid April. its was mostly couple. we had so much fun we are going around the same time next April
Well I guess April it is. Just waiting for wife's green light from work and I will be all set for April. The ones that don't know us (almost all of you who haven't been in March) we are insanely crazy people when it comes to party. We don't get to party at all back home so we go in full on party mode 24/7. Should be booking for 4 to 14 if everything goes well. See you guys there.
We always had an awesome group in March (most of us repeaters) but then since our past 2 trips we have started seeing more and more singles in groups of as big as 10 guys and not one but several groups., mostly from UK. We did not have a single incident where, I might have got into a fight or see them misbehaving (maybe we got lucky) but it's just they are loud as hell. Anywhere and everywhere you go you can hear them, morning, eve or night time. And the biggest con of all is that it makes wife uncomfortable to take part in entertainment activities and stuff...
too much testosterone week 8 in Feb has a huge following, then 10 to 25 April ish has a big following , then the end of April there is a closed large clicky group that goes , younger crowd , and the like to party and add good vibe to resort.
We're excited to try April, we went March 2015, and as several have stated waaaaay too many single sprinkbreak guys, that were super handsy, don't get me wrong... I'm a fan of handsy, but maybe you could ask my name first. We also went October 2015, and while the resort was less crazy (albeit we missed the hot girls that were 69ing on the poolside from March) it was a great and more uh intimate group and we already have plans to meet some couples in October again.
