We were wanting to hear reviews from people that have taken family trips to Cancun. We went to All Ritmo last time, looking for something more up to date. We are considering the Royalton Riviera Cancun. Any and all advice about this resort or others is welcome. Kids 20, 11, 6 They loved the water park at All Ritmo, so a water park would be a plus. Thanks. (I tried using the search option because I know it's been discussed before, but family and resort just brought up threads talking about TTR family.)
We looked at Sandos Eco Caracol (they were sold out our dates) - they have a waterpark there! We are taking our kids to Allegro Playacar Aug 4-9. They are 17, 16, 12

Now Jade is nice, we've taken our kids there. Great Parnassus and Crown Paradise are the hotels in Cancun that come to mind that also have waterparks.
We've stayed at sandos caracol several times(before we discovered TTR ). Would highly recommend it as a family resort! Nice water park for young children along with many organized activities! Also a good vanilla resort for adults! And plenty of topless sunbathing on beach if you like!!
