We are going on vacation with both our parents. I obviously can't do a family vacation at TTR. However, we do need a spot that has good day time and night time activities. Can anybody suggest something? My buddy swears by Club Med Cancun but he also won't step near TTR. Therefore, your suggestions will far outweigh anything he has to say. We prefer Mexico but it can be anywhere.
Courtney and I got married at Chic by Royalton in Punta Cana in December. We had family who wanted to go along, so we nixed our original plans to get married at TTR. We loved Chic, and had an amazing time both days and nights there. No place is like Temptation, but we'd both go back to Chic again - if TTR wasn't an option. It's adult only, but the majority of women around the pool don't lose their tops.
That's pretty broad...Budget or luxury? Activities as in playing sports or watching shows? Iberostar Tucan in Playacar is reasonably priced, on a beautiful beach, less than an hour from the Cancun airport, and had lots of daytime pool games (dominated by children), and had really funny audience-participation night shows. Food was very bland there, though. Riu also has a reputation for lots of activities. Negril Jamaica is a great destination for lots to see and do, but generally is more expensive and takes longer to get there from the U.S. If your parents have any mobility issues, Mexico will be easier for them than Jamaica. However, Jamaica is absolutely gorgeous. Never been to Dominican, but lots of friends have, and they have all said the beaches are fantastic, but you don't venture off the resort much.
you might try Platinum Yucatan Princess. It's a lot quieter than TTR but still adults only. If I'm reading correctly, just you and your parents, no kids? They have an activity pool(not anything like TTR sexy pool), but they also have swim out rooms, walk out of your suite into a 4' deep pool shared by 10 rooms, about 10'x75' pool size. Food is fabulous, beach is good but a long walk from the rooms. Reasonably priced and about 10 minutes north of Playa Del Carmen.:mermaid:
Thank you! No kids!! 6 adults all wanting to have fun and party! Our budget is $2,000 each person. We can go a little higher for the right place. Our parents would actually like TTR but we just can't do it with them there.

Daytime activities around the pool (similar to TTR but not so vulgar). They are not proponents of foul language. Nighttime activities like shows, audience participation, if the resort has a piano bar, cigar lounge, scotch bar... Sorry for being so broad and thanks for your help. Does this narrow it down?
