still 5 days away but the weather isnt doing us any favors. Near a foot of snow Wed may cause issues the next day - our flight is at 05:30. Last year we flew out on a Thurs and the northeast got hammered with a near blizzard 48 hrs later. Hope it is not time for payback.. we spend the night prior to flight in hotel near airport so getting there in time will not be the problem.. will hate to miss a minute never mind a day :lighting1:
Time to get out the shovel and start digging a path to the airport... Hope you make it safe and all your flights are on time! Just think how much nicer it is to arrive in Cancun when you are leaving shitty weather...
Thanks - We wake up just miles from BOS, Our only concerns are the plane making it in (likely scheduled arrival Wed evening) so it is there waiting for us Thurs am - then there isnt a backlog of outbound flights slowing us down. We only have 45min lay-over in between flights in MIA.
OH NO!!! I'm trying to think of something clever to use as a "good luck" versus fingers crossed. Legs uncrossed for you?? That's all I've got right now!
Cancelling and changing flights is a very costly thing for the airlines as well as passengers, 90% of the time they fly. If your flight is canceled or changed or even delayed, they have serious reasons for it. Even delays cost them huge bucks. Delays suck for sure, but I would rather fly on a plane that is not broken, or being battered by mother nature See you on the beach!
I agree with LionsNzebras last summer out flight from Ottawa to Toronto was 7 hours late..they said plane broke down. Bt who knows and then for our connecting flight they were holding sign out for us to rush in the plane. Which we made it thank god because next flight was after 3 days !!
