First timers to TTR going to be there there Jan 26th thru Feb 3rd. Looking forward to a great time but we're supposed to be leaving for home on Superbowl Sunday. We're thinking of extending our stay one more day to party and watch the Superbowl. Does anyone have any experience with extending their stay and how much this may cost? We booked through Expedia and they were going to charge an arm and a leg for one extra night.
I'd be more worried about your flight than the hotel. Check out how much you'll get charged to change your flight.
You'll be fine then - just book an extra night through Expedia or Alpha Rooms. When we were checking out, the front desk were trying to persuade us to stay for longer, saying "we can book you in for more nights if you want", but after two weeks we were definitely done!
The only thing ive seen on there TVS is soccer. My wife misses her hockey when we go there. Could be wrong ,,never been there for the super bowl.
Superbowl We were at TTR last year for Superbowl, Watched the game at the sports bar. We will be at TTR again this year for Superbowl. I think that the parties at some of the downtown bars will be rowdier. Lots of them advertise Superbowl specials with big screen TV. Only thing lacking is the free booze...LOL We are at TTR from Jan 23 to Feb 6, maybe we will cross paths
ugh Good luck with Expedia - try and go around them if you can straight to the airline and hotel for the extension. Almost guarantee they will tell you they need to cancel and re-book the whole trip - will not be any extra fees and then you will get a semi-refund on original booking and told to pound sand. best of luck
We did superbowl a few year's ago in Mexico, unfortunately they only aired the game itself and NONE of the commercials we're used to watching in the States.
