You can fill out your information (name, address, phone number, dates, etc.) online so it may or may not save you time at check-in. Might as well do it, but I am pretty sure it saves no time. They are going to have your information regardless. You can put room requests on there, and maybe they will look at it. In my experience, they always try to give you a undesirable room first no matter what. My response has been "I put that area on the express check-in and my original booking, isn't there something closer to my request?"
The only real benefit we have seen from doing an Express Check-In is that it signifies we are so close to liftoff that we can start our countdown ! Has anyone successfully bribed (edit: tipped) the front desk for a better room ? Once I gave them $20 and did get a better room. The next time I gave them $20 and got a shitty room, and got balled-out by my lovely wife for wasting $20 that I could have given to bartenders or housekeepers !
I tipped the front desk $20 and we got a better room than i expected with all of our requests... king bed... away from patyo's... cant remember what else i asked for... place was sold out so we were very happy with what we got... i know the tip helped because the girl was clicking around for a while and moved us...
I like your tip description better than my bribe description. Since you had a good experience tipping, next Thursday I'm going to try it again, and hope for the best !
