Anyone has previous experience with the transfer services provided by Air Transat between the airport and TTR? Wondering if it’s worth it to book a private shuttle or not/ if Transat’s provided shuttle goes straight to TTR or does the milk run? We lucked out last year as we travelled with family to a resort down the Mayan Riviera and ended up getting a direct drive to the resort. Well aware of existing private services, mostly looking for advice from Transat travelers before booking
I’ve booked through Transat holidays the last 3 trips and this upcoming spring trip. I always booked a private transfer. No waiting at the airport on arrival and at the hotel day of departure.
We have used both Air Transat and Sunwing several times to TTR, I have used them 13+ times in mexico. If you want to get there fast, dont use them, they always do the milk run and stop at 3-4 hotels. If you want fast use USA Transfers or take a cab. We will most likely use them again. It aint no big deal to me.
We arrived Dec 29th with Air Transat, no issues with transport provided.....only one other hotel stop enroute from airport.
