Hi guys. we have always won our trips to Cancun in the past, but it has been awhile since we have won one so we are going to actually pay for one lol. Our question is this what travel site would you recommend, and has anyone had any problems after arriving in Cancun with either? Booking the same trip is about $300 cheaper with Expedia, but we are willing to pay the extra if it means a smoother trip. Any help is appreciated.

I've used Expedia a lot, probably about ten times! I've never had any trouble at all with them. I have also used travelocity, but never Orbitz, so I can' comment on that one. I say if its cheaper on expedia, go for it!

I think I have used all three, but I prefer Orbitz because of the Promotion Codes.

Usually I can find a Promo/Coupon code for $200 off my reservation.

You simply insert the code during the reservation process and if it is still valid you will see the reduction in price.

for instance, if you are booking at least 7 nights with flight to Mexico before 12/31/09 (travel whenever), enter code 200ENTERTAIN on the Orbitz website, and you will receive $200 off.

Sites like http://www.retailmenot.com and http://www.savester.com have hundreds if not thousands of promo codes to be used on all kinds of things, travel included.
