We are new to Temptations and we really have no idea what to expect. We are on both forums and read everything we can and I keep posting. I have put pics on our page, even tried to get some sexy ones on there without being to exposed. I hope our expectations are not too high. We are a very well educated couple with very high profile professional jobs so we are quite reserved in our professional lives to stay out of the limelight. We usually do a European vacation but this year I wanted to kick back and let loose, Cancun it is. We have been together since we were teenagers and are not in the SL, but we are going to see what happens at Temptations, we are open to the “first time” if we meet the right couple (we have friended some very beautiful couples). I have all my sexy theme outfits, bikinis, signed up for the boob cruise, read everything I could read but I feel I should be doing more. Any advice on how to make this trip the best ever, let us know. Kim and Joe
I think you are doing everything right. Sign up for your roll call month, stay in touch on the forum and reach out and say hello. You will have an awesome time. Don't be scared to say hello to anyone while there. Lose your inhibitions. The resort motto is "nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit". Live it!
You know.. the best way to approach TTR is to just go.. go with the flow, have fun and no expectations. Because expectations create worry if they will be met, and worry creates stress, and stress creates a pushy vibe and people tend to stay away from pushy vibes. So go, party, have fun and let what will be be. You'll be surprised that when you’re not looking for something it always seems to find you. And if for some reason on this trip it doesn't, well you had a great vacation away and can try again! Jamie
You sound a lot like us 4 years ago. My how things have changed. Look at all the pictures we have now, ha. We 100% agree with the just let things happen naturally advice above. Focus first on the party and having fun and as a result things just happen that feel right. There will be some points where you are presented with an opportunity to do something against your normal thinking... maybe a body shot, participate in a contest, go up to a stranger at the bar and say hi, etc. The advice is just do it. There is nothing to lose on a vacation like this. The more you embrace the no body knows you and nobody gives a damn philosophy the more fun you will have. It really is different than the world we are all used to and the sooner you realize that the better your week will be. It is ok if it takes a little time though.
Pick up a couple of orange bracelets before your trip, that way you can be wearing them when you arrive. Many people will see the orange and introduce themselves and ask who you are on CCC. Same goes for you, see others with the orange bracelets on, introduce yourselves and order up a couple extra shots and share with those around you. You will have a great vacation!
Just go with the flow try not too plan too much as when your around the pool with everyone your plans will change and you'll end up doing things with yr new friends. (like if you make reservations for dinner always plan for 4ppl and then invite ppl to join you for dinner)
Have fun, make friends, avoid my shot machine (lol, or use it, either way) and opportunities will present themselves. Choose what feels like fun and it will happen. Keep in mind that many of those who come to TTR are in the same boat as you - high stress/high intensity jobs that require time to vent the steam before you explode. Here are our tips for your first visit at TTR, specially if you are open for your first LS experience. 1) Never say never! 2) Expect nothing... but be prepared for anything! 3) Sex is like a shy cat... it comes when you least expect it! 4) Party like a rockstar, Drink like a Canadian... (oh no wait I think I got that line wrong...hehehe) As other have said don't have any expectations. Go there to have fun, try to be as social as possible, don't expect everyone to like you or talk to you if you are not reciprocated just move around and find others (don;t take rejection personally nor seriously). Once you entered the Zen mode of TTR "No one knows you....etc.." you will be free to party without worrying too much and you will have the time of your life!
