We're going back to TTR in a few weeks and were thinking about doing an excursion other than the Boobs Cruise which we plan on going on May 26th. We were wondering if anyone has any recommendations on good ones to go on?

We did Chichen Itza and swam in a cenote. Beautiful and really a must when visiting a place like Mexico with so much history. Also, we had to have some pictures that we could show at home. :biggrinbandit:

If you enjoy snorkling at all Xelha is a must. There is also swimming with dolphins, cliff diving, tubing, ziplining, and sea trek there. We went last year and it was a blast.

We have taken a day trip to Isla Mujerss for the past couple years and it's a great trip. It's nice to get away for the day and just relax and recuperate a bit. We get golf carts for half a day and just ride around and look at the scenery, Do a little shopping, have lunch and head back to the resort.

Pics to show at home... thats a really good point. We're looking at other excursions too, and most of the research we've done indicates its better to go through CCC than the hotels since the hotels ca be over-priced (unless its something included as a package deal) True? We're definitely in for the Boobs Cruise ... but would like to see something cultural and historical as well. Chichen Itza sounds like a good day trip. Thanks for the info!

We did that as well, and had a blast. Found a great little beach resort near the turtle place called Zama... Great food, and they let you relax in their pools & jacuzzis too.. Not to mention driving around in a golf cart drinking shitty mexican beer is fun.

We did two things which we had alot of fun doing. We went horseback riding using Bonanza Tours in the rain forest then swam in the centenos and we also swam with the dolphins on Isla Mujeres. We had a great time doing both.

We did Xcaret. I think it was more expensive then it was worth. We LOVED Seatrek @ the park, but I think you can do it elsewhere too.
