Hi everybody! My name is Heather and this will be our first trip to TTR. My husband Josh and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary. We wanted to do some excursions like the Isla Mujeres cruise. Can anyone tell me if it is cheaper to purchase those packages online before arriving, or if it's cheaper through the hotel travel agency once you arrive? We are newbies, so any advice would be appreciated. (We tried to get Steve to resurrect his Boobs Cruise for 05/11, but not enough interested parties :icon_frown Thanks! Heather
Hi Heather, I'm sure there are others that have had more experiences than me that will chime in, you do have to do a little shopping around. We were there for our first trip in October and noticed that there was some different prices from the excursion booth off the main lobby and the excursion booth by the sexy pool. Also if you go out of the resort and directly accross the street there is a vender there selling similar excursions for considerably less. One thing we did that I would recomend was the speedboat jungle tour. You drive your own 2 passenger speedboat through the lagoons then stop in the middle of the Carribean Sea and snorkle. Awesome! You will have a blast. We are planning our second trip this October. Enjoy, Paul
