Hi im going to cancun in may and have an idea of a few things i want to do while out there. Being from the uk i will take pesos with me, but all the excursion prices are in dollars and dont know if you get the going conversion rate or better rates if using pesos for excursions. If anyone has been recently or is there could you shed any light on prices in pesos for any of the following. 1. Tour Xcaret Plus 2. Golf Cart hire on isla mujeres 3. Hummer Jungle Tour 4. Jet Ski Hire (hotel Zone)
As a general rule, if it's priced in Pesos and you use Dollars you'll lose out. If it's priced in Dollars and you use Pesos you'll lose out. Tours are almost always priced in Dollars so use Dollars if you can to pay for them. Xcaret Plus is $118 through this website, booking in advance will most likely get you the best price. Public tour to Eco-Park Xcaret with PLUS entrance option. Price will be more if booking at your hotel. Golf cart hire, hmm around $40/$50 for the day or $15 an hour. Hummer Jungle Tour, dont know about this one, it's not a common tour. Jet Ski hire, taking a guess at maybe $25 for half an hour.
