With the recent illnesses, clampdown on body shots and now people are talking about that they're not allowing balcony shows...i'm not as pumped as i was. Hopefully the sicknesses have past, but even so, I'm really starting to worry that they're going to ruin the vibe of the place. I'm really pissed that all this stuff has come up within the last 30 days! What do you guys think?
Yep...you probably saw my post on the balcony shows...sounds like the place is losing some of its atmosphere. Still planning to go, but it seems like its not going to be what we originally expected.
We are going in June and we picked this place over some others because it was fun and daring. We didn't want Hedo(yet) cause it might have been too much this was just enough now it seems like every resort. Don't get us wrong its still beach booze and fun but not "FUN":ladiesman1::69::flash::3some: Hope its back to the old place, we have read so much about and heard so much about.
We feel a little baited-and-switched too.... Really hoping the bad reports are overblown and that we're not wishing for Jamaica when we get there.
Hey guys..Dont let some of these "new rules" make you nervous about your upcoming trips....Your vacation will be what you make of it and as long as you are there with good company and just doing you, you will have a fabulous time. They probobly just needed a little relief from the recent large groups of singles and may be taking it day by day to make sure that everything is OK....Think of it as them ensuring that everyone has a good time and is not discouraged by large groups of singles taking over and not obiding by the rules or taking things out of hand...I have no doubt you will all have a fantastic time!!!!!!!!!
This actually happens all the time. Over the years we've seen that on some weeks they're strict and on others they're lax. Some weeks security is watching like a hawk others they're invisible. Sorry for those people that missed out on that stuff but I wouldn't worry too much about big changes (knock on wood) *L*. Go with the XXXpectation that you'll have fun no matter what. Just emailed the resort tlling them i hope they havent taken out the tempted out of Temptation since if they now have a " police state" enviroment they will start losing customers. I made it clear that the epic group wont be happy if the body shots are now "outlawed". Hope they listen and be more lax Rob
No doubt that security comes and goes, but I doubt if you will notice any difference between this trip and any other TTR trips. You will have a great time, and I would not spend any time worrying about what you cannot control. As far as the balcony shows go, there are probably 100 rooms with balconies and do you think security can actually police each of those 24/7? The sickness issue sounds like some sort of flu that I hope does not last much longer. Bringing along some Cipro or something like that may not be a bad choice.
