Hi. Im just wondering what the excange rate in mexico is at the moment. Im coming to riviera maya in 15days and don't know weather it will be worth waiting and getting my currency in mexico or getting it here in the uk. Hope some one can help. Thanks lisa

Lisa, for us europeans its always better to exchange money in Mexico. Get a couple of Dollars for the first days and just use the ATMs there. They will give you the best exchange rate you can get. To prevent card scam, only use your card on ATMs that are inside or attached to a real bank. Did this every trip down there , and it worked like a dream. And inform your bank that you are going to use ur card in Mexico. Otherwise they like to block it. (Happend two times to me) And its a hell to unblock it when you are outside the country.
