Has anyone stayed at Excellence Playa Mujeres? I just booked this hotel for my honeymoon. I booked the Excellence Club 2 Story Roof Top. Is it worth getting the Excellence Club.
Stacia & I stayed at the EPM in September of 2011 for my buddy's 40th birthday. The reviews still sound the same as before we went then, so I don't think there's been any drop off in quality, or anything else. It's a great place, good food, very pretty. Yes, the Club is definitely worth it. Lots of very minor upgrades, and accelerated access to the restaurants, faster sort of VIP service in bar areas, things like that. All together, it makes for a fantastic experience and a better one than the non-Club people get. Think of it as the choice you may have when renting a car (or buying one, for that matter). Sure, it costs a little more to have the better experience, but it IS a better experience. You should have an excellent honeymoon! Good choice for that.
