Good morning to all My wife and I are coming out to Temptation on the 30th Dec 2018 for the New Year. I was wondering what is the dress code for restaurants, are men allowed in smart shorts or does it have to be long trousers (if so are jeans allowed) Thanks S & D
Long trousers (Pants ) are required in the Asian, Italian, She and Sea Flirt (evening) , shorts (of any kind) are only acceptable in Buffet and Flame. Pajama bottoms and jogging bottoms are acceptable, providing they are long and cover men's hairy legs and knobbly knees. as we found out... crazy dress code !! (Ladies can wear almost anything...............)..........
S&D there is constant battles between shorts and pants people on here in case you were not aware. Some men wear shorts and hats for that matter even if they ask you not to. I, male half, wear linen or khaki pants for dinners, no matter which restaurant we go to. Jeans can be worn, but I find it more comfortable to wear linen pants in the heat. Reach out if you have questions, we have been for NYs before and will be there this year.
I'm the same as cnparda, my wife got away with wearing anything (or next to nothing), but I didn't want to risk it, so I had a couple of pairs of nice, comfortable linen pants. I did wear my sandals instead of dress shoes or closed toe shoes and no one said anything to that. I have several pairs of "resort" shorts that at other places, no one bats an eye at. But I figure that as few rules at Temptation has, this is one of them. Might as well just have some fun and go along with it. We wind up breaking all the other rules, obeying one of them shouldn't hurt us. LOL
Just show some class and wear pants, guys. You compliment your woman's outfit and add a more dignified feel to the scene when you dress up a bit. Shorts and jeans detract from it all.
