Since checkout time is 12:00, and our flight doesn't depart Cancun until 6:00pm, will they (TTR) let us hang around for a few more hours?
Our reservations (all inclusive, including flights) were made through the resort. It's not our fault (they couldn't get us out, earlier)!
Yup you get a slip of paper so you can still drink & eat and they'll hold your luggage at the front. Put your flight clothes and pool stuff in you carry on and enjoy a few hours pool time, just remember to put any liquids (sunscreen) in your checked bags before boarding. I suggest changing in the washrooms by the sports pool, bigger and less busy
You definitely can hang out until you have to leave, you can leave your stuff at the front.. we were fortunate enough to have met a good friend that gave us a key to their room till we had to leave.
We changed in a friends room...................come to think of it we never got dressed in our friends room! LOL...............shhhhhh....
Ask them for a late checkout and yes you can hang until your flight time. You transfer is usually two or three hours before but when you check out they will cut the bands off. No biggy the bartenders know that you are leaving and yes they will stilll give you drinks.
