Okay... Yes...we are newbies and our first trip is upcoming. We anticipate the "party" atmosphere and look forward to it. But, we also enjoy a game or two of euchre over relaxing drinks with another couple or in a small tourney. Not something to do for hours, but something to do for an hour or two or even late at night as a wind down. Does anyone play Euchre (or cards) anymore?? lol ... or is there just no time for it here?:brick:
OMG! You are the first couple who I have ever heard ask those words. My wife and I play eurchure many years and are pretty good at it. Many people have never heard of the game. Bummer we wont be there when you are there. We always go to TTR in late May or early June each year. That is a great idea though, I hope you find some takers to play cards with!
Somehow I think that is a bad game when on vacation. The superstitious side of me says your tempting fate when you play a game hoping for a strong case of the runs
Euchre??? that sounds like one of the names of some new color my wife says we now need to paint a wall!!
Damm...such the luck. Hard to find anyone that even plays it anymore. We used to play it and Rummy for hours when in college. Just something to pass the time when in good company.
We love us some euchre but can't imagine playing at TTR. Way too many other fun things going on to sit around and play cards.
If you make it strip euchre I am in. Otherwise I don't wind down until I am face down and even then it depends on what's under me.
