Hi there, I'm just new to Cancun (married a Mexican) and would love to meet a few fellow English speakers while I am still working on my Spanish. Are there groups or clubs here that meet from time to time to socialize? Thanks
HI. You didn't mention your gender but if you're of the female persuasion, you could check out the International Women's Club of Cancun. It is a group of women that live in Cancun, that speak English (although they sneak in alot of Spanish). They are a social group and do charity work for different organizations in Cancun. I joined 13 :daisy:years ago when I came to Cancun. It's an excellent way to meet other women and we have guest lecturers, fun activities, even Field Trips (the Ladies are going to Valladolid in April for a day trip). They meet the first Saturday of every month; the next one is the 1st of April. The ladies are all friendly and welcoming...give it a shot!
