hello me and a few mates are looking to go to cancun round about end of may time wot is it like this time of year? could any one recomend were to stay were it will be party atmosphere? i have heard the oasis is ment to be good but the reviews i read are terrible would you reccomend it? wots the food like etc? we can book 2 week for £ 800 also wich is better the oasis or grand oasis, thanks alot if any one can help.
Grand is better than regular. If you are not going during Spring Break, I see absolutely no reason for you to stay at that dump.
have you got any recomendations for the best place to stay? location wise etc mate? we have never been before so all the help is very helpfull to us. wot is cancun like in may?
theres always people in cancun, may is still a good season to go, i would recommend not going from september - november... thats real low season... as of the best hotel according to location, it all depends on what you are looking for, if you only want to party, staying at the RIU or Hyatt or NH Krystal would be a great option, they are across the street from all the clubs... its really up to what you are looking for or what you want to do.
As Norma said, I think best location is near the clubs with is near the corner of the 7 (see map of Cancun). Everywhere in hotel zone is accessible by bus but the further away from the clubs, the more time you have to spend on the bus. I say your best bet is the best deal you can find as close to the clubs as possible.
I agree. If you're not going during March, there is no good reason to stay at that sh%t hole - Oasis.
There is no particular website that's always cheaper. There is no silver bullets to finding good deals. The key is to be patient, thorough, and persistent. Check all travel websites and start checking early (ie don't wait till last minute) and check frequently. That's how you find the best deals possible.
