Hi there, We are coming to Temptations next week for our engagement vacation (yay!). Someone I know told me they heard you can get engagement pics for cheap in Cancun - anyone know about this? I am not sold on the idea since we're having a camping wedding in Maine so a beach shoot won't really fit in, but if the price is right... haha.
There’s a lot of very good photographers in Cancun and the Riviera Maya. Most hotels also offer access to in-house photographers and most often they are also very good and perhaps a little less expensive than getting an outside photographer. Photo sessions don’t come cheap in Canada/USA and its the same in Mexico. Photographers are professionals aiming to offer you memories for a lifetime, that comes with a certain price. The cheaper you go, the cheaper the pictures will look like. In the end it all depends on what you are looking for. It’s worth checking with the hotel to see if you can get a session with the in-house photographer, especially if you don’t have a particular style in mind and given that your trip is fast approaching.
