A friend from Tulum was mentioning he thought there was an agency in Cancun that connected people with employers who are looking for fluent English speakers. Similar to an employment agency except all the jobs they have require 100% English. Now my Spanish is as good as his English so I was only able to understand parts of what he was saying but has anyone heard of anything like this here in Cancun? It may be intended for the locals but I don't see why anyone who speaks fluent English couldn't look into it. He said he thought the name of the agency was OPC but wasn't sure what the acronym stood for. Any ideas?
Never heard of anything like this here. An OPC is a timeshare position that requires strong English, so maybe that has something to do with what he said? You'd think if a company like this existed that a couple of pertinent Google searches would reveal it.
Cheyenne, I have been searching for such a thing as well.. but haven't found anything yet. I am looking for something.. well anything that wont require me to speak Spanish as I am definitely still learning and don't know nearly enough yet. Let me know if you find anything.. even just a single place you know that is hiring, and I'll do the same.. I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
No problem. I see a lot of ads for 70% to 90% english but so far the only thing for 100% english has been with Marketing for Sunset which I am avoiding at all cost. I will let you know if I hit the jackpot with something.
