I hope this isn't to crazy a question, but are the electrical outlets in the room the same as in the US. We have 9 nights to go and Kathy has started getting things ready but not sure if we need some type of adaptor for cell phones, hair driers, etc.

    Thanks, Randy

Usually most guests just grab two coat hangers and some wire (usually under the sink) and while standing on a donkey patch into the main lines which are conveniently at ground level.

Just kidding, they run on the same 115V plugs you see anywhere else in North America.

the donkeys are used as a ground :) They just get a little aprehensive when you stick that third wire in the receptacle!

For us Brits - can you describe the sockets as we have 8 days to go and I have been trying to remember too?! Two round pins or two flat ones?
    Thanks!

Here's what a US outlet looks like 120 volt AC~~~

Most will look like Figure #2 but they all take the same size plug.
