Yes Stacey. We took the shuttle (you have to get a day pass at the Golden's front desk prior to getting in the shuttle), spent the morning at the swimup bar, went to the adult only pool/jacuzzi area (2nd floor) and then ate lunch at El Mcguey. It was very good, they have an appetizer sampler that includes about 12 different appetizers. Not sure what their hours are now but they were only open from 1pm - 6pm. It is also a little hard to find, located near the entrance to the Kids Club.
Oh thanks so much for the tips!!! I will totally keep this in mind! We had planned on going to the Great at least one of our days, so I will have to remember this ........
I did eat there! It was sooooo empty and the seats were hard and uncomfortable.... but we had a window seat with a view of the kiddies playing in the mini water park. the food was great though!
