We land in Cancun at 9:00 in the morning Feb 07, are there normally any rooms available for an early check-in? If not we'll have our swim suits in our carry-ons, is there a place to change and store our luggage while we warm up our livers untill rooms are ready?
Absolutely. At 9 AM if you get a room you will be extremely lucky. So pack the swimsuit and lotion close to the top or in an outside pocket on the suitcase. The bellmen at the door will store your luggage safely till your room is ready. If you have valuables you don't want to take to the pool ask for a safe deposit box behind the front desk to store them (I think they still have them). There is a bathroom in the lobby area you can change or out by the Sports pool. The one by the sports pool has showers and everything. Something to keep in mind if you want to hang by the pool after the noontime check out... If you are arriving at TTR at 9 AM, I would 1) Check in, 2) Head out to the towel hut and get your towels for the day, 3) grab a chair by the sexy pool, 4) change, 5) grab breakfast at the Embarcardo and get one of their made to order omelets, 6) By now Diego's bar by the pool should be open - go grab a drink, 7) Sit down in your chair and lather up with the lotion, 8) start really enjoying your best vacation you've ever been on.....
