I don't remember seeing it last May! They had Barcardi just not limon!! U can get it at Duty free and give it to the bartenders for U to drink with! :biggrinbandit:
Can you buy all alcohol at the resort for duty free? Can you bring it to your room and serve yourself?
Just take the bus or a taxi down to the liquor store across from the Walmart (or even Walmart itself) and stock up. I don't think you can buy alcohol at the resort (at least not cheaply). They did have a couple of the flavoured vodkas though - I believe citrus, apple and vanilla - but I didn't see any flavored rums.
What Bambers said... but I will add don't bother with the little convenience store (for alcohol anyway) right outside the resort- wayyyyyyyyyyyy expensive. Nick (and the vodka swilling Kitty)tm
Yeah the bus is only 18 pesos (or just $1-$2 USD). You catch it just out front and it says "WalMart" on the front of the bus. If you ask the driver, he will yell out Walmart when he gets to the stop and then if you just cross the road there is a huge liquor store and then you cross a second street to get to the WalMart. So much cheaper than the store by the resort.
bus As Amber said the bus is every few minutes right outside the resort ....R2... it says wallmart on the front, tell the driver where you want and he will shout it out..only a short 1 block walk... when you finish the bus stop is directly outside wallmart and the liquer store LA EUROPA is facing the bus stops. it is 8.5 cents per trip or he will take a 1 dollar bill xx I do know they stock many varieties of barcadi at Temptation, and think i may have seen lemon..worth asking ..
They had that Absolut Mandarin last time in October, and I think in August as well, but Stacia drank them out of it, the fish.
