How is the drinking water at Temptations and Cancun in general. We were in Jamacia a few years ago and the water at the Hotel /Resort was fine but got a cup of ice at the airport in Kingston which caused some problems.
I've been to Temptations 4 times now..They supply water in your mini refrig. in room. I have had a soda with ice and had no problem. They make tons of frozen slushy drinks with ice all day. I've heard of no real problems. I believe they do have there own filtration system on the property. :ernaehrung015:
The water throughout the resort is fine. Outside of the resort though I would stick to bottled water and be sure to break the seal on the tops yourself. They even gave us bottled water when we went out to the clubs at night. I had a friend go and get bottled water at McDonalds (and nothing else) and he had some problems.
LOL, on our first trip to Mexico our van driver from the airport to TTR (was BBG then) told us that TEQUILA was Mexican water. :icon_lol: Seriously though, we have drank the water at the resort without any problems. In fact, we try to stick to the 2 drinks, 1 water, 2 drinks, 1 water rule all day. It usually keeps us going all day and ready to party all night!!!
The resort itself does have its own water filtration system. So you will have no problems there. If you have your own water bottle you can get it filled at any of the restaurants, just ask the waiter. When getting water outside the resort, do indeed stick with bottled water and be sure to wipe the top of the bottle after you remove the top. It might have been sitting in ice water that was not so clean. Also beware of salads outside of resorts or restaurants in the hotel zones. The lettuces might not have been washed in clean water.
