Hello Myself and 5 others are coming next Sunday. I have not been since its was the BBG and was just wondering what the dress code is for the theme restaurants? Many thanks Rich and Jody
The dress code really applies to the men. The rules that seem to be enforced the most were - wear a collared shirt (no t-shirts no matter how stylish) & no opened toed shoes. Dress shorts, dress pants & jeans are allowed. I know people have probably gotten in wearing unappropiate attire but is it really worth the risk? Besides even if you do slide thru the crack the other guests may frown on it. They pretty much leave the women alone though most use this opportunity to dress up. Makes for a nice evening setting. If you don't want to dress up the buffet is always open & the food is good there too. JMO
Men could not wear shorts(of any type) in the specialty restaurants. Long pants and close toed shoes only. Hopefully someone else will confirm this! But, yes, there was still Sexy Coffee and it was still great!!!!:aktion033:
Yep when we were there no shorts however smart were allowed but you could wear a smart t-shirt without a collar. Think you had to wear a collar in the Italian but not the others! Women can wear anything though lol. Lynfa x Does say this on the website: Dress code: no shorts, no t-shirts, no jeans and no sandals, but Les has worn jeans & t-shirts everytime! Think it just depends on the waiters lol.
Thanks for the info guys, this is a question we were wondering about too. We enjoy dressing up for the night when eating at themed restaurants, NTBABY is right, it does make for a nice evening setting. Having said that it is sometimes good to dress down a little so that is when we will eat at the buffet restaurant.
OK I will add a question to this thread...Are any of the restaurants less casual than the others, maybe the Tex Mex? Doesnt one of them have outdoor or open air seating? Less casual as in nice shorts and sandals, not straight out of the pool lol...Just wondering.
You can eat outside the Italian in nice shorts etc, not many seats there though. If you have a reservation there one night, go along before hand and explain you would like to wear shorts and sit outside and they will do their best to help you out x Lynfa x
