Just wondering what the dress codes is for the clubs downtown. I'm sure you see just about everything. But what can I get away with wearing...or not wearing :clappyinghappy:

Cancun is a beach and party community. You can realistically get away with wearing very little...very exotic..

you didn't specify whether it was for guys or girls, so here goes. Girls can pretty much wear anything they want ranging from conservative jeans and dresses all the way to see-thru tops and mini (and I mean REALLY mini) skirts or shorts.

Guys can go in with sandals and shorts. The only thing that you are required to wear is a shirt or t-shirt. No sleeveless tank tops. The only club that makes an exception to this rule is the Cabana Beach Club.

    hope this helps.

Now... if your girl goes out wearing a hot outfit as described below, don't be a dork and wear shorts and sandals. Dress to IMPRESS! Your lady will thank you.

Most guys on our Coco Bongo bus were dressed in shorts and t-shirt or maybe a nicer t-shirt. No one was dressed like they were going to a Vegas night club! I wore a tank mini-skirt cotton dress with a nicer necklace and flat sandals and fit right in with other chicks. Didn't seem to be any dress code at all there at Coco Bongo, can't speak for the other clubs (but I doubt it). If you dress to the 9's you will probably feel out of place - just my opinion.
