Newbies here can anyone give us some advice on the double deluxe room vs a deluxe room there is a 1k price difference between is it worth it? JandK
I think the only difference is that one has 2 beds compared to the other having 2. I think I inquired about this once, and the large difference in price might be because the double deluxe is for singles sharing rooms and is per person which would basically make both rooms essentially the same price.
I think you meant one has 2 beds compared to the other having 1 :doh: I wouldn't worry about upgrading until you get there. Once you see the room, if you aren't happy then go back to the front desk and ask about upgrading. We really like the rooms and haven't had a problem. From the way most people talk we thought the rooms would be like a motel 6 room, but they are much nicer. I would compare them to a new holiday inn express (or slightly nicer).
I recently asked this question too. There is no reason to spend the extra 1K. book the cheaper room and upgrade when you get there....if you want. We inquired about an upgrade to a jacuzzi room while we were there and they quoted us an extra $100 a night. I offered $50 and they took it.
