This thread is for all of us, whether we just returned, getting ready to go to TTR, or currently there now. We get 50 lbs per bag in our luggage, and we've all forgot something in the past that we needed on our trip. Let's make a list of essentials that one must not forget to pack for trip. I'll start it out. Avon's Skin So Soft (Only thing that works for "NoSeeUm's" tiny bugs that bite especially women at night and are super attracted to perfume. Most insect repellants don't work on them)
We have a # of items needed over the years we just keep in the baggage. #1 plastic ponchos--rain & cold airports #2 copies of current tickets & trv cks in carryon & 1 suitcase #3 have tags with our cell phone # (& area code) on all bags and cameras etc. (we found a cam corder in disney 2 years ago with the cell #- he sure was surprized to get it back w/i an hour) #4 have preprinted personal bus cards with email for people we contact while on vac. #5 2 short ext cords and 2 plugin expanders- elect outlets not enough or in wrong place. #6 spare camera with batt. #7 small unbrela #8 no black suitcases--seems 80 percent of travelers have black & have extra tags & color coded yarn or ribbon tied around the handles. sure makes things easier to find. #9 no large heavy metal nipple jewerly worn--sets off the alarms at the airport
yeah i learned this lesson several years back and i found the perfect solution the key here is you want your bag to stick out like a hard on in a porn movie so i went out and bought this bright lime green florescent glow in the dark luggage set just f'n gaudy ugly so - when i get ready to locate my bag i don't even have to look for it - instead people standing around waiting to spend 20 minutes trying to figure out which one of the 2,000,000,000 black bags is theirs..................... let me know where my bag is as they all look at it like "what fool would have bags like this" i get the last laugh though i dont have to spend my valuable time looking for my bags mine are the bags that people point too and laugh at they look and laugh i lift and leave rob
Suprising you say that I loved the bed at tempation but then again I was in an ocean view jacuzzi suite so it may have had a different bed.
On a trip to a different place recently, we literally went to the local Walmart and bought these, used them and then "abandoned" them when we left. Cheap enough ...
pack of straws they always seem to run out of straws when we are there, maybe cause we drink sooooooooooo much
- small zip-up/resealable plastic bags for suntan oil/cream, good for keeping sand and water out of cameras, mp3's, phones etc. - plenty of spf 25+ lip balm, for keeping those lips soft and moist!! - longer than usual straws for thermal cups, the normal ones don't reach the bottom!!
