So while you are down there is it better to carry pesos or US Dollars? I know that most places take american money, but do you get any better deals if paying with pesos? I'm asking now because I've heard you can often get a better exchange rate if you exchange your money in the US rather than at your hotel.
finding a place to get a good exchange rate is always a hassle to me......... just use your american dollars............. they work just fine!
