Is there a place near by to wash out some stuff? Or is there a place to take your stuff and have someone do it for you? We're gonna be gone for 11 days and I don't want to pack so much stuff.
There is a place right next store, I have never used it, but i would guess you may have to hang out there while your doing, cuz i think its just a few machines and its a self serve kinda of thing, but I know theres one there, the hotel will also do them for you, but it takes a while to get them back.
We gave ours to the hotel to do and they were back the same day - but it was just a few pairs of Les shorts and a cpl of tops - they did them great though x
If you use the machines by the store I would suggest runing a load of whites throught he washer first before anything else. A lot of people like to use bleach there and sometimes if hangs around for the next load. Have lost several items to bleach stains before I fugured out what was happening. It takes 5 - 5 Pesos coins for wach load to wash and dry. Jeans take two cycles to dry. Might want to consider some oxyclean in with the whites, rather than bleach because the water has a brown tint to it and leaves the whites just a little "off-white". And yes this is Jamie not Chris writing this. Saturday night after our first week I usually come back from the clubs, head upstairs where Chris has put the laundry in a suitcase, grab said suitcase and head back downstairs to do the wash. I fold it and bring it back to the room then head for the pool. Chris wakes up in the morning and irons what needs to be ironed and then comes down to the pool. Works out well. Clean clothes and neither of us is stuck doing the whole job. Jamie
We alway have the hotel launder some clothing...being gone for 14 days...usually back the same day or the next...
