Today I have to put my Boone down. My smart, handsome Border Collie. Boone has been my best friend and loyal love for 12.5 years. He has stood by my side when two husbands would not, when times were aweful, and great. He helped me raise my kids, and even given me a reason to get up a few times. If you have a minute today, please, just a quick prayer for my best friend......my heart is broken

Our prayers go out to you and Boone. Putting a dog down is one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life. Go forward knowing that you gave Boone a good safe place to lay his head when he was tired and more love than any dog could expect to receive. So many dogs are not loved enough but I can tell Boone was a King in your home. Once you know it's time - letting him go is the ultimate act of love. Unfortunately it is something that you never get over but do learn to live with. Peace Firm & Suz
