haha nope, Mexican law enforcement doesn't look too kindly on that stuff. I'm not saying that if you are so inclined you can't find it. It's readily available if you are looking. Just keep in mind that the hotel will kick you out and possibly let the cops know if you start doing that stuff on the resort property. Just something to keep in mind.
Also on the street the cab drivers will take you to the cops who will sell it to you and then throw you in jail after buying it. Suggest you bring your glasses and depend on booze to get you through. I have been told that the inside of a Mexican jail is not for the faint of heart and a vacation experience that should be passed on. Jamie
...you can get it fairly quickly if you want it...people walking along the beach, cab drivers, etc...don't let some of these other posts scare you too much...if you want to, you can, just don't think that you can do it out in the open
haha not trying to scare anyone but it is illegal in Mexico and if you get caught since they have a pretty massive drug war going on, don't expect them to be too forgiving. Just make sure you keep it away from security and don't do anything foolish like partake at the sexy pool for example.

The guys selling cigars on the beach also tell you they have weed for sale - I wonder if they sell it and then tell the cops you have it. I would rather not drink calories, but won't do anything illegal, even in the US - just not worth it. Would never do anything that could land me in a foreign jail!!

That wont stop you getting into trouble. If you're caught with a small quantity you'll still be arrested and held (could be several days) to appear before a prosecutor who will determine whether the possession was for personal use or resale. I can guarantee what decision he'll make, until he sees some serious $$$.
And mexican pot is shit. Why waste your money! And I also remember either this year or last, someone on this forum posted about a confrontation with a dealer on the beach at Temp. Why press your luck in a foreign Country for some herb that isn't worth it in the first place?
