We are currently at the resort and have brown water coming from our taps into the bath tub and sinks. I can only assume we are also showering in it. Obviously we are not impressed. I can only hope they are not washing/cooking with it in the baths and kitchens. Is anyone else experiencing it? I’d encourage you to run your taps and plug your sinks, to see if you’re experiencing the same.
We just left yesterday and they were working on the system last week, very loudly on Th/F (stopped over the weekend). Maybe they finished yesterday and had to flush? We have never had full on brown water out of the taps though on any trip. That said, here is what we have seen every trip and you can all try yourself: run the hot water in your sink. It will look clear. Then put a clean washcloth under it and let it keep running for 3-4 minutes. Interested in what you find. Did not see same with cold.
