Does anybody remember "from dusk till dawn." Does anyone know of anything similar (no vampires of course)!

Dust till Dawn

Hey Star...

There's a place you should see called the Market. Not so much like Dust till Dawn, more a shopping mall of strip clubs but they do suck your wallet dry.

Although it's not close to Cancun, some buddies & I went to a place called Boystown in Nuevo Laredo back in the late 80's (you wouldn't catch me in Nuevo Laredo these days... pretty crazy there now). There were a number of clubs in this small area just outside of town which could have easily doubled for the bar in the film. The only one that I could remember the name of was "The Dallas Cowboys". Each of the bars were what we called "Fish Bars" because as soon as you walked in, one of the ladies who worked there tried to hook you.

But I swear at the time, I felt like I was in some Clint Eastwood western movie.

 

I had the opportunity to go to Boystown about 11 years ago...didn't go, but the guys who did came back with some stories :lol:

 

ive done some research on Nuevo Laredo, it sound crazy, well up for it, how far is it from cancun (miles/km)

 

I'd measure it in hours. I wouldn't be that surprised it took more than 24 hrs of driving just to get there. Nuevo Laredo across the border (Rio Grande) from Laredo, Texas, USA.
