I answered in the other thread, but no Great Parnassus is not a spring break hotel at all. It's more of family orientated hotel with lots of kids facilities. Definitely not the place to stay for Spring Breakers.

heyy!!! sorry ive been slacking! lol. Yeah me and DickBeamer stayed there in 2009. it's a very beautiful hotel with amazing restaurants and views...... however it is not a spring break hotel and has kids like steve said. they do have an adult pool which is topless.... and of course even though i think its illegal.... the beaches are pretty much topless(I've never seen anyone get yelled at... but thats only from my perspective). you will find drinking games there and different beer and spring break contests(i have footage around on my youtube or hard drive somewhere) but its nothing compared to Oasis/Belive or some of the other ones. If you stay at the GREAT you have access to the GOLDEN which is adults only.... 5 or so more restaurants and bars, topless, awesome tiki bar, tons of drinking... gets quite interesting at night with drinking games, body shots and escapades leading to the hugeeee hot tub. but if you are looking for a place crawling with barely legal drunk teens falling all over the place to pull.... you probably wont find much you'll like at a Parnassus :D lol hope this helps. Parnassus' are forever my heart and soul though! lol

To add to this, I have stayed at the Great Parnassus and Golden Parnassus multiple times for Spring Break over the last few years. I've done the Oasis (now Be Live) in the past, but after some of the leaks, lack of hot water, and other inconveniences, decided to move on. The Great is a nice resort...generally reasonably priced...with good AI packages...and decent accomodations...but not necessarily the best place for Spring Break for the reasons listed above. (As a side note, I was able to get some family friends in there at $100/night - which is AI for two people - so $350/pp for the week). The Golden is better (Adults Only), although I think they have limits on Spring Break activity (might even need to be 25+ or something like that for each room/group?). Basically, I stay at these places as we go with some older family friends - but my brother and I will disappear to the Oasis or other places some days, and typically almost every night at the clubs/etc. If I had more like 6 weeks of vacation a year, I would gladly do a week at a place like this, then the second week at a more "Spring Break-esque" location!
