Do lots of people get sick?

OK, I know this is a ridiculous question......but this is a BIG fear of mine....I have read several posts about people puking in the pool....does this happen often? Is it common to see people getting sick? I understand that there is a chance of this happening, but I was just wondering if this is more of the norm? We are going in June of 2010, our first trip to Temptation...10 year anniversary...and I can hold my liquor and am ready to party....

 

I tend to think of it akin to swimming in oatmeal...

/Just kidding it doesn't happen very often at all. And it doesn't matter how strong your liver is, if you do it right that first day is a real kick in the head (or make that the next morning!)

 

In the 3 times I have been to (BBG) TTR I have never seen anyone get sick in the pool. As a matter of fact I don't remember seeing anyone really falling down drunk. Many quite loaded, especially after the booze cruises return, but the things you read are the exception, not the rule.

 

I have seen it once in 9 or 10 trips and the guy was so drunk it wasn't a matter of IF he was going to get sick but WHEN he was going to get sick. It is not something I would spend my vacation time worrying about.

 

You answered your own question, and yes it was ridiculous.

 

Someone took a dump in the pool when I was there in June. It sure was a topic of conversation for awhile.

Well that does speak highly of how relaxing the pool is , , does it not ? ha ha

 

LMAO, Rob I have been that guy too, woke up in the morning, thinking I had a great time the day/night before, then goin down by the pool and having buddies look up at me with this internationally known look..." the look up , " DUDE," then the look at the ground , then back up at me while shaking their head in a disbelief fashion, " DUDE , do you have any idea".... could just be me though ha ha

 

I don't care how well you think you can hold your liquor...BE CAREFUL that fist day!! I have seen many brave soldiers die a slow death on that first day. They all claimed they could hold their liquor too. Just saying....... :stevehastoomuchvodka: :chuck:
