everything was ok before last update. as I recall, the oxford concise dictionary was active. after final update, just the standard dictionary is active. for instance, typing in trebuchet and seeking it in dictionary, a message says i'll have to purchase the dictionary upgrade, which is simply replacing the codac.dll at a cost of $20. what a bummer! any way around this? :huh: Never mind, neighbors! Rather than again pay for something that used to work, found a unique fix. I already had the extended dictionary as an external program. Just had to search among my disks till finding it. With the external dictionary running, at same time as wordperfect, it automatically locates the definition of a word that is selected and put in clipboard from withing wordperfect. YAY!
