I am looking for some information in regards to the dining options. What are the specialty restaurants? Do you make your reservation the day of or for the next day? Can you make your reservations for the week?

Obviously, the day we arrive we will have to eat at the buffet - correct?

Which specialty restaurant is a "must not miss"?

    Thanks in advance!

You need reservations for the Asian and the Italian restaurants(and long pants, closed toed shoes and a dressier than tshirt, for men). You can book for the next 4 days. The Italian is my favorite.
Without a reservation, there is the TexMex or the Seafood restaurant OR the buffet.
The food is good everywhere but I have rarely had the buffet for dinner-just for breakfast.

The only thing to add is that at the beginning of your trip, you'll find it tough to get decent reservations because people are allowed to book 4 days in advance you are competing with people who've already made their reservation days before you got there.

But....it really is worth eating at the specialty places. When you've spent all day slathered in sunscreen and buzzing on (fill in blank), it's a nice change of pace to put some nice clothes on and eat something other than french fries.

Always worth stopping the restaurant even if you cant make advanced reservations, if your dressed for the dinner , you may get in... a lot of times people make dinner reservations before noon and somehow accidentally get drunk and either dont want to go to dinner or just plain forget or pass out... So if you have your heart set on a place and dont have reservations, its always worth stopping by to check if their full.... My DO NOT MISS place is the ASIAN, I love it

We found that both the reservation only restaurants very good. Well ALL the restaurants are very good to be honest. The week we were there, we ate at the seafood place- twice, the Tex Mex- once, the Asian place- once and the Italian place twice... we also ate off site for one dinner as well...

Also, like backs13 said, there are always people that don't show, so not THAT big a problem. We had reservations at the Asian place for 2, but then wanted to have "sunfun" join us for diner on the Friday so we needed 2 extra seats... I offered the Host a tip to accommodate us, but he wouldn't take it but looked after us anyway... (I left the tip anyway...). Also we didn't have reservations at the Italian place on the Sunday, but we showed up at 6:30 and again the Host looked after us anyway.

If you are nice, polite and accommodating, I suspect you will not have a problem.

Your arent kidding, that is awesome... I have literally had to roll myself out of there a few times, I have ordered two or three appetizers, two main courses and then you get to dessert and its a must.
