We will be arriving in the evening and would like to skip the buffet and have a meal at one of the restaurants. Does anyone know if the hotel will accommodate for this or if we are just out of luck?
If you don't know someone who will make one on your behalf you'd be out of luck. But only for the Asian and Italian. If you go to the Tex-Mex or Seafood, neither require reservations and both have some pretty good food. Even if you are stuck with the buffet, there is good food out and they always have something that they grill to order (usually shrimp, or a roast etc). So I wouldn't get too worried. The buffet restraunt is big enough as well that you can find a quiet corner if you just want a little quiet dinner.
Also, sometimes you can get into italian or asian without a reservation. Just walk up, and ask if they have a table available...
Hi, Just email the resort and tell them of your late arrival and ask if you can make a reservation prior to arrival. We've done this numerous times and never been denied. Most resorts are happy to oblige. Have Fun I'm jealous. Ken
Having a 10 or 20 dollar bill in hand usually makes an open table appear. But like Keith said, both the Tex Mex and Seafood are good and no reservations. Casual pants and shirt is still the dress code for the restuarants but I've seen some guys still wear shorts...
I think I read somewhere there is an extra charge at the seafood restaurant. Is this right and what sort of prices are we looking at. She loves seafood and I imagine we will spend most evenings there.
